Committee for Equity, Diversion, and Inclusion

VACT strives to provide a fun, positive, and inclusive experience for every member of our community. We recognize that the work to dismantle racism in the arts, increase access to and diversity in our programming, and elevate artists of color to make their voices heard requires a long-term commitment.

VACT's Board of Directors has formed a Committee on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (CEDI) to provide a vehicle for us to examine our organization and ensure that our theater is meeting the needs of the community and that we are doing our part to eliminate barriers to performance opportunities and organizational involvement. Through our work we have and will continue to examine and develop policies, procedures, peer mentorship, and a BIPOC Assistance Program all focused on removing barriers and transforming our organization.
