Cast List Announcement

Thank you to everyone who auditioned for Alice in Wonderland Jr. We saw so many wonderful actors at auditions, but unfortunately we were not able to cast everyone who came out to audition for this show. We had 120 people who auditioned, but were only able to offer roles to 75 people. There are so many factors that go into casting a show, so if you were not cast in this show please do not be discouraged! Please consider coming out for a future production or looking for a production at another theater. Additionally, registration for our winter/spring drama classes is still open so check out those fun classes! Please know that we do not respond to emails asking for information as to why your child was not cast in the show or did not receive a part different than the one they were cast in.

If you do not plan on accepting your part, you must contact Director Heather Felker (heatherefelker@gmail.com) no later than the end of the day on Sunday, January 19th. Please let us know by the date so that we can consider offering your role to one of the many people who were not initially cast in the show. If we do not hear from you by 1/19 then we will assume you are planning to be part of the show.

In order to accept your part, YOU MUST complete the cast registration (see NEXT STEPS below) by Sunday, January 19th.

Script pickup will be Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00-6:30pm at the VACT building. Please stop by to pick up your script anytime during this time frame. If you are not able to come during this time, it is not a problem. You may also pick up your script on the first day of rehearsal. You must complete all registration forms online and pay fees before you can pick up your script (see NEXT STEPS below). You will not be able to pick up your script or participate in the first rehearsal if the NEXT STEPS below have not been completed.  

Please watch for our first cast email, which you will receive from Heather Felker no later than Tuesday, January 21, 2025. These emails sometimes end up in a spam or, if you are using a gmail account, they almost always go into the promotions folder/tab, so please make sure to keep an eye out for this email. If you do not see an email by 1/21/25, please check your spam or promotions folder, and if you still do not see it, then email Heather.

Our first rehearsal will be Sunday, January 26, from 1:30-5:15pm. There will be a mandatory parent/guardian meeting at the VACT Building during the first rehearsal from 5:00-5:15. It is required that all cast members must have one parent or guardian present for this short meeting.

  3. If you would like to get your script before the first rehearsal, come to Script Pickup on Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00-6:30pm at the VACT building. Otherwise, you may pick it up at the first rehearsal. You MUST register in order to pick up your script.
